Increase in Housing Benefit Seekers

Written on December 20, 2008 by admin

A report launched has found there has been a significant increase in the number of people who have contacted the council looking for information on housing benefit.  This is put down to the credit crunch and the financial problems people are experiencing including the rise in unemployment.  If the trend continues then there will be way more people looking for rental properties than the demand can withstand.

The Benefithousing website has been setup to assist people who are seeking a rental property in their search and every week new property are being added and contact information for letting agents who accept people who are in receipt of housing benefit, housing allowance and dss payments.  There is still a long way to go but the site is moving along nicely and really beginning to pick up lost more agents and landlords.  It is important to remember, unlike any other property site on the internet that Benefithousing is purely for people in receipt of housing benefit or DSS payments.

Any property or letting agents you see on the site will be accepting dss payments, so no need to worry about being rejected.  Check out the site today and make full use of all the features.
